Hey FAB ones! Well, we are 31 days into 2015 and what an incredible 31 it’s been! I can’t believe it has been a month already… Time flies when you have focus and vision! It had been about 9 months since I did a length check and actually straightened my hair.

It’s that time of year… The holiday season is when everyone finds a place in their heart to give back and give BIG! Last night in Hollywood, Hill Harper & Nate Parker held their 7th Annual Manifest Your Destiny Foundation Toy Drive. The event overflowed with Black celebrity as well as celebrity and the who’s who in Hollywood from ALL nationalities and creeds. The carpet was crowded, the smiles big, and toys and donations plentiful! Oooooh and you already know they were dressed to the nines! 😉

Hey FAB ones! While looking through the apparent lost files from the past few weeks, I came across these images. I can’t help but wonder how I overlooked posting this look… It was one of my absolute FAVs! My hair, paired the edgy Boho Chic garb were totally in sync.
This look consisted of a High Low Bohemian Style Duster, A chic black top with esposed back by a local designer (Adrianne), ripped denim shorts, booties by Bucco (Hautelook), and edgy distressed stockings. I paired the look with an uber fab necklace and full finger ring both copped off Hautelook, along with other gold accessories.
I am rocking my hair in protective styles to keep it safe and healthy in these high temps (yep we are still reaching the 90’s). I am sporting an afro and LOVING the heck out of it! This protective style was achieved with Crotchet Braids using Marley Hair. I’m learning that Marley Hair is SUPER flexible and offers carefree maintenance, which is a HUGE plus. I make sure to keep my own tresses moisturized and keep my afro UBER CHIC by water and various forms shea moisture products as well (cream based).
